NEURAL NOTES / ACCOUNT DELETION

Delete your PearaByte account.

This established Neural Notes support URL now makes the scope explicit: the form below deletes your full PearaByte identity. To keep your account and purchases, delete only Neural Notes cloud data from My Account.

Delete only Neural Notes cloud data →

Before deleting your PearaByte account

This page performs full PearaByte account deletion. If you only want to remove Neural Notes cloud data while keeping your PearaByte identity, Pro subscription, and purchased packs, use Neural Notes My Account → Cloud data instead.

Cancel Google Play or Apple subscriptions in the applicable app store first; deleting a PearaByte account does not cancel app-store billing. Website Stripe subscriptions are cancelled as part of full account deletion. Payment providers may retain transaction records under their own policies.

What full deletion removes

Your PearaByte identity, sign-in methods, sessions, security settings, and product bindings.
Connected Neural Notes cloud data you own, including Neurons, notes, attachments, Standard sync history, stored Secure ciphertext and public-key envelopes.
Your Neural Notes memberships, product device/key state, account mail history, and invitations addressed to the account.
Your owned PearStead cloud households, household records and snapshots, and your household memberships. Other members lose access to a cloud household you own when it is deleted.

What stays outside this deletion

Neurons owned by other people remain with their owners, including contributions already retained there. Saved files, exports, screenshots, and offline copies already held on devices cannot be remotely erased. Deleting PearaByte does not delete your Google or Apple account.

To clear this device’s Neural Notes account workspace and Secure keys, first use Profile → Sign out & remove local account data in the app. Your separate signed-out workspace is not deleted by the website action.

Timing and retained records

Full account deletion is permanent and completes when this page confirms success. If the service cannot complete it, account data is not partially deleted; retry the same code. Website subscription cancellation may complete before a retry. A hash of the confirmation proof, containing no email, account ID, or note content, expires after 24 hours and is removed by scheduled cleanup. Hashed sign-in identifiers also expire after 24 hours to prevent delayed provider sign-ins from recreating a deleted account.

Operational recovery backups, infrastructure logs and records already delivered to payment, email or identity providers are separate from the active account database. A successful deletion confirmation does not certify immediate erasure of every recovery or provider copy. Contact support about retention and your request; see the PearaByte privacy notice, Neural Notes privacy notice and PearStead privacy notice. We cannot erase information already downloaded by another person.
